Antonio Conte apologises after sending off in Chelsea’s defeat of Swansea

Antonio Conte lifted the lid on his touchline bust-up with the fourth official during Chelsea‘s 1-0 victory over Swansea.
The Italian was typically animated on the sidelines on Wednesday evening and was sent to the stands at Stamford Bridge by referee Neil Swarbrick in the dying moments of the first-half.

Conte was seen screaming in the face of fourth official Lee Mason and apologised for his actions in the aftermath of Chelsea’s win.
‘The problem is I was frustrated because the opponents were wasting time,’ he explained after Antonio Rudiger secured three points for Chelsea with the only goal of the game in the 55th minute.
‘I tried to tell this to the fourth official not only once but a few times.

‘But I have apologised because I did the wrong thing. I have been in to see them after the game. It’s right to speak and apologise with them.
‘I don’t know if it was fair [to be sent off] but we have to respect this decision.
